President discusses rehabilitation of Attabad lake victims
A high level meeting was held at the Presidency to discuss the rehabilitation of the Attabad lake affectees.

A high level meeting was held at the Presidency to discuss the rehabilitation of those displaced because of the Attabad lake disaster and the reconstruction of the Karakorum highway.
The Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan, Federal Ministers and technical experts were all part of the high level meeting which was chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari.
Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar said that it was decided that the water level of Attabad lake would be lowered, and a boating service would be set up. He also said that a feasibility report would be put together to assess the situation.
Babar also stated that the President lauded China's support for the affectees of the disaster.
