Pak-China Friendship: Navy hosts event to mark 60 years
Naval Chief Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila hosted the event.
To commemorate and celebrate 60 years of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations, the Pakistan Navy organised a colourful event in honour of Chinese diplomats and Islamabad-based Chinese citizens at the Naval Complex here on Saturday.
A press release issued by the Pakistan Navy on Saturday stated that Naval Chief Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila hosted the event.
A large number of Chinese guests participated along with their families.
In addition to a golf game between Chinese and Pakistani players, a volleyball match, a ladies’ putting competition and different games for children were also arranged.
Participants enjoyed the event and said that that holding such events will certainly help in further enhancing the existing deep friendship between the two countries.
Later, prizes were distributed amongst the participants.
