PHF announces cash prizes for players, officials of the national team in recognition of the side’s win over Australia

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Qasim Zia has announced cash prizes for each player and official of the national team in recognition of the side’s win over world champions Australia in the final of the Tri-Nation series that was held earlier this month in Perth. “We’re pleased to announce Rs100,000 each for the officials and players of the hockey team for their excellent performance during the Tri-Nation series and for beating the world champions,” read a PHF statement. Zia vowed that the PHF would continue rewarding the players for producing similar results in the future.
