Jinnah Hospital DMS under suspicion once more

Police have relaunched a homicide investigation against Deputy Superintendent of Jinnah Hospital, Lahore Dr Yadullah after evidence in the post-mortem report of his wife revealed that she may have been murdered.

Johar Town Police took Dr Yadullah into custody earlier on charges of murder of his wife Fiza. Initial investigations had led the police to conclude that the death was a result of suicide, however SP Investigations Saddar Division, Ahmed Nawaz Cheema told Express 24/7 that the portmortem revealed possible torture marks on the body.

The Superintendent said it was also possible that the deceased committed suicide after being beaten or tortured or was strangled. He said the complainant is not yet part of the investigation, nor did he officially announce the arrest of Dr Yadullah.
