Meetings to grant extension to director’s tenure from one to two years and conduct elections for directors for 2012.
KARACHI:
The Karachi Stock Exchange’s board of directors in an emergency meeting has decided to convene two extraordinary general meetings to grant extension to director’s tenure from one to two years and conduct elections for directors for 2012.
The board, which met under the chairmanship of Karachi Stock Exchange chairman Munir Kamal, proposed to hold the first meeting on December 8 for extension of the tenure and the second on December 29 for conducting elections for next term.
The elections were earlier scheduled for December 15.
