Cattle Calling: Cops arrest gang, recover 10 animals

Ten stolen animals recovered worth Rs1.45 million.

FAISALABAD:
Police officials arrested a gang of cattle thieves and recovered ten stolen animals worth Rs1.45 million from their possession on Tuesday. City Police Officer (CPO) Rae Tahir Hussain said that a special police team headed by Lundianwala SHO inspector Ghulam Fareed conducted a raid and nabbed seven members of the gang. The CPO said that the raiding team also recovered two pistols (30-bore), a carbine and 10 stolen buffaloes worth Rs1.45 million from the accused. Police officials said that the accused had been involved in 13 cases of cattle theft and arrested the gang leaders.
