Road Accident: 16 injured as bus overturns
An ill-fated bus overturned on Kohala Road near Haripur.
HARIPUR:
At least 16 passengers were injured after an ill-fated bus overturned on Kohala Road near Haripur on Monday. Five of the injured, including two women and a minor, were in critical condition, police said.
According to the Khanpur police, a Rawalpindi-bound bus went out of control near Kohala Payen due to a technical fault. The bus overturned after hitting a hillock next to the road.
Rescue workers rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Khanpur Civil Hospital, from where the five critically injured were taken to Heavy Industries Taxila Hospital.
