Facilitation: SECP extends last date for filing Form 29
SECP said the Form 29 submission date extension would be applicable to both online and manual filing.
ISLAMABAD:
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has announced that it has extended the last date for filing Form 29 to November 18 in order to facilitate the corporate sector.
In a press release issued on Monday, SECP said the extension would be applicable to both online and manual filing.
SECP said the corporate sector and other relevant quarters had requested extension in the last date in view of Eid holidays and that most of the companies are already busy in filing their income tax returns with the FBR which made it difficult to prepare and file Form 29 on time.
The companies are required to file annual returns on Forms A/B within 45 days, in case of listed companies and 30 days in case of other companies, of holding of annual general meetings (AGMs).
