Hockey: PHF takes note of junior team’s failure
PHF has asked the team management to promptly submit a report on players’ performances in the tournament.

Irked by the junior hockey team’s poor showing in the Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has asked the team management to promptly submit a report on players’ performances in the tournament. Pakistan lost four consecutive matches and secured just one win in the league stage. The team eventually finished a dismal fifth in the six-nation event after getting the better of New Zealand in the deciding match for fifth position. According to a PHF official, the team’s manager-cum-coach Rana Mujahid has been requested to prepare a report on the reasons behind the team’s failure.
