Football: PAF record narrow win in PPFL
HBL made several attempts of a comeback but the PAF goal-keeper ensured the team’s victory.

PAF recorded just their second win at the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) as they beat HBL 1-0 while Pakistan Navy earned a walkover against Pel who failed to show up at the venue yet again.
After most of the match witnessed a goal-less play, PAF scored in the 84th minute to take the lead. HBL made several attempts of a comeback but the PAF goal-keeper ensured the team’s victory. Despite the win, PAF still languish at the 14th place in the 16-team PPFL.
Meanwhile, Pel, placed at the bottom with eight points in 24 matches, failed to report for the fifth time during the tournament, handing out easy points to Navy, who are placed 13th.
