The government has decided to give flood-hit farmers with up to 50kg of free wheat seed and 50kg of fertiliser per acre. This plan was discussed on Saturday at a meeting chaired by the deputy commissioner of Jamshoro, Nasir Abbas Soomro. A committee of the Rabi Assistance Plan 2011 was formed under the chairmanship of MNA Abdul Ghani Talpur to implement and monitor the plan. Three taluka monitoring committees were also formed for Manjhand, Sehwan Sharif and Kotri.
