Mahawish Rezvi November 12, 2011

In today’s episode of the Tribune Take we get a sneak peek at this week's T-Magazine cover story on the long lost Benjamin Sisters.

Zarrar Khuhro, editor T-Magazine, takes us back to the good old days when the singing trio were on top of the charts and then their sudden disappearance from the public eye. Khuhro's team discovered what the sisters were upto today and brought them together for this weeks issue.

The Benjamin sisters discuss their  careers and singing in the 80s. They claim to feel safer back then, during the hight of the islamisation campaign by General Zia, rather than today's tense climate of religious intolerance.

Their house in a Church Compound was recently attacked by some bandits who took away their valuable assets including cash. I hope the police in Karachi are aware of this incident. Yes, they are still good singers.
