Training: Civil hospital programme on bio-safety
Organised by infection control committee of Civil Hospital, Karachi in collaboration with the Bio-safety Association
KARACHI:
A training programme on bio-safety was organised by the infection control committee of Civil Hospital, Karachi in collaboration with the Bio-safety Association of Pakistan at the OT complex auditorium on Wednesday. The 20 master trainers were trained to control hospital-acquired infections, properly use personal protective equipment, ensure hand washing, and manage spills. Ten people in charge of operation theatre, staff nurses of intensive care units and operation theatres, technicians and members of infection control teams attended the course. Dr Ghulam Fatima, a pathologist, trained the participants.
