Two men booked on the charge of desecrating graves and using the bones for black magic were released on bail worth Rs20,000 each. Chetan and Kishan, arrested by the Gulshan-e-Maymar police, were produced before Judicial Magistrate, West, Ashfaq Ali Nizamani.
Police launched a search for the men who are accused of desecrating 30 graves. They were arrested on suspicion as there was no proof against them in the police record, their lawyer has argued. However, mere suspicion, because they are members of a minority, does not constitute grounds for arrest and jailtime.
