SYDNEY: Former India coach Greg Chappell has said his fallout with India great Sachin Tendulkar was his biggest regret during his controversial stint. Chappell believes his failure to communicate well soured ties with India’s senior players. “My biggest regret was falling out with Tendulkar over him batting at number four in One-Day Internationals,” he said. “I didn’t communicate my plans well enough to the seniors. Once I called in Tendulkar and Sehwag to ask more of them, I could tell by the look on their faces that they were affronted. Later Rahul Dravid said ‘Greg, they’ve never been spoken to like that before’.”
