This is such a touching and at the same time a very bitter sweet news story. That baby girl was just dumped off in cold blood, probably because of her sex. And these two people just took her in with all their kindness and their love. There are also wonderful people around that do good things. Otherwise they could have also just passed her on to someone else.

Unfortunately I have noticed these human interest stories that happen in rural areas are never covered for more than one or two basic lines. Why not give details of the new parents' emotions, of what everyone in the neighbourhood thinks, of what plans the parents have for the child? Is she accepted by everyone in the family or did they fight to keep her? these details would be interesting.
