Bull Headed: ‘Chulbul Panday’ tramples 9 people

Area residents said that they chased the bull for two hours as it ran amok in the streets trampled eight people.

QUAIDABAD: A bull named ‘Chulbul Pandey’ attacked its owner and eight other people when they tried to slaughter it on Tuesday morning. According to eyewitnesses, F-Block resident trader Chaudhery Abdul Rasheed bought a bull to slaughter for Eid and named the animal ‘Chulbul Pandey’ because of its temper. The bull got loose after seeing the butcher’s knife and trampled its owner. Area residents said that they chased the bull for two hours as it ran amok in the streets trampled eight people. The bull injured a total of nine people including its owner Abdul Rasheed, Latif, Muhammad Shabbir, Muhammad Qasim, Muhammad Asif, Ghulam Farid, Sarfaraz, Rana Zafar and Muhammad Siddique. People finally cornered the animal in Jinnah Park and tied it up. Four of the injured people were hospitalised.
