Defeated Sri Lanka by eight runs in the final in Male, Maldives.

Pakistan lifted the inaugural Saarc Twenty20 title after defeating Sri Lanka by eight runs in the final in Male, Maldives. Ovais Zia scored his second century of the tournament as his 107-run knock spurred the winners to compile a total of 201 batting first. Aqeel Anjum also contributed 38 runs. Chasing the target, Sri Lanka could only score 193 runs after superb bowling by Umar Amin, who returned figures of four for 21. Seven countries - Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal and host Maldives - participated in the tournament.
