Football: Injured Nasri ruled out of friendlies
Ruled out of France’s upcoming friendlies with the US and Belgium because of an inflamed left knee.
PARIS:
Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri was ruled out of France’s upcoming friendlies with the US and Belgium because of an inflamed left knee, according to the French Football Federation (FFF). The 24-year-old had been a doubt for Friday’s match against the US and next Tuesday’s clash with neighbours Belgium. “The hospital examination as well as complementary examinations confirmed the inflammation and as a result it was clear that the player would not be fit to play,” said the FFF.
