Canada earned a hard-fought 42-34 win over the UK in a Group A match at the Kabaddi World Cup in Sangroor, India while the hosts outplayed Australia 66-23. Canada have emerged as tournament favourites after winning all three of their matches, while defending champions India also remain undefeated in Group A so far. The tournament features 14 teams divided into two groups, with the top two sides from each group qualifying for the semi-finals on November 18. Pakistan will play their Group B match against Italy today, having lost to the US in their opening match and posted a victory against Sri Lanka in their second encounter.
