Looted: Two deprived of car, jewellery and cash

Two armed robbers made hostage the inmates and looted jewellery and cash worth hundreds and thousands of rupees.

Two persons were deprived of jewellery, cash and car in Wah Cantonment on Saturday, police said. A man was booked for defrauding two persons.


Mohammed Jamil reported to the Wah Cantonment police that two armed robbers entered into his house, made hostage the inmates and looted jewellery and cash worth hundreds and thousands of rupees.


The same police booked Kashif for issuing bogus bank cheques to Khurram Shahzad and Arshad Iqbal. Shahzad lodged a report with the Cantt police that Arshad gave him a cheque for Rs77,000 but it bounced and turned out to be bogus.

Arshad Iqbal also complained to the police that Arshad gave him a cheque for Rs300,000 which was returned by the bank as it was bogus.

Faisal lodged report with the same police that unknown carjackers had lifted his vehicle (NW-702). The police registered separate cases of the incidents.
