Social Work: Volunteers get certificates at SIUT
The programme gives students an opportunity to ‘give back’ to society.

The Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) held a certificate distribution ceremony for its 25th batch of volunteers on Saturday. The programme gives students an opportunity to ‘give back’ to society by providing healthcare services to patients. SIUT’s Prof. Dr Anwar Naqvi said the programme gave students a chance to be inspired and make social work a part of their daily routine. Since its inception, about 2,500 students have participated in the programme. The chairperson of the Resource Generation and Outreach Department at SIUT, Kishwer Zehra, said that 120 students completed 30 hours of training in this batch.
