Corruption: Two judges stopped from working
LHC stops judges from working after they were found guilty of corruption and dishonesty.

Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry on Saturday stopped two judges from working after two inquiries found them guilty of corruption, dishonesty and misuse of judicial authority.
According to a notification issued by LHC Registrar Sohail Nasir, the chief justice directed the secretary of the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Division, to withdraw judicial work from Mian Zafar Iqbal Bohar, judge/chairman of the Bahawalpur Drug Court, and Zubair Shahzad, an additional district and sessions judge in Lahore.
Bohar and Shahzad were found guilty of corruption in inquiries conducted. The chief justice directed the federal law secretary to appoint men of character, integrity, and knowledge of the law to the seats in consultation with the Lahore High Court.
