Pakistan railways : ‘PM’s directives to help overcome crisis’
General Manager says Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani’s directives will help restore Pakistan Railways.

General Manager Pakistan Railways (PR) Saeed Akhtar has said that Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani’s directives will help restore Pakistan Railways. Talking to Radio Pakistan, Saeed Akhtar said that PR has been running in deficit since 1973 and some administrative failures and economic factors were responsible for its present crisis. He added that Pakistan Railways asked the prime minister for a transport policy and government investment under the policy.
