Marked target: Exam controller suspended
BISE examinations controller was suspended following repeated complaints regarding the marking of recent exam papers.

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) examinations controller Malik Riaz was suspended following repeated complaints regarding the marking of recent exam papers.
A number of students complained that the marks for objective-type question papers had been down marked and several charges of biased marking were levelled against the accused. A number of students complained that their objective type question papers of intermediate level were not checked properly and said that Riaz did not correctly enter information into the system.
