LAHORE:

An Additional District & Sessions Judge directed the SHO Islampura to record the version of the petitioner Muhammad Zubair Bulqan Rana and if any cognisable offence comes on surface, to register the version of the complainant.

This was the second petition filed in Sessions Court in two days seeking registration of a case against Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Amir and Salman Butt. Rana filed a petition before AD&S judge seeking to register a case against the trio saying that they tarnished the image of Pakistan at world level by deliberately fixing match in greed of money.

He implored the court that Pakistan was criticised globally due to the trio’s involvement in fixing and told the court that they had not just hatched conspiracy against the country but also deceived the fans who had prayed for them at difficult times.
