AG Punjab tenders resignation to provincial government

Sources said the resignation was submitted over differences with the secretary of finance.

LAHORE:
The Advocate General of Punjab Khawaja Harris submitted his resignation on Wednesday, Express 24/7 reported.

Harris reportedly submitted his resignation to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif three days ago.

Sources said the resignation was submitted over differences with the Secretary of Finance Tariq Bajwa regarding the appointment of more officers in his office.


After resigning a few days ago, Harris did not report to office today (Wednesday).

Harris has in the past submitted his resignation to the provincial government, however, his resignation has not been accepted.
