A laboratory technician of the Chandka Medical College (CMC) hospital in Larkana was shot dead by armed men.

RATODERO:
A laboratory technician of the Chandka Medical College (CMC) hospital in Larkana was shot dead by armed men on Monday after he refused to cooperate with them. Barkat Khakheli was going to a village near Mehar town on his new motorcycle, when two armed men intercepted him near the Wagan village. They instructed him to stop his vehicle, but he did not give in to their orders and was shot in the foot. Despite this, Khaleli did not stop his vehicle and fell down after travelling another kilometre as he had lost a lot of blood. He was taken to the Wagan health centre by farmers where he was pronounced dead. Hundreds of employees of the CMC hospital boycotted their duties, marched through different roads leading to the hospital and staged a sit-in on Tuesday to protest against Khaleli’s murder. They demanded the arrest of Khaleli’s killers and jobs for his heirs.
