All-Weather Friendship: Chinese contingent treats flood victims

The military contingent from China set up the hospital for the flood survivors.

KARACHI:
The Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahirul Islam, visited the Peoples Liberation Army field medical hospital in Kunri on Tuesday. The military contingent from China set up the hospital for the flood survivors which became popular in the area for its services. The medical staff, which works round the clock, includes 16 doctors and over thirty nurses. The Corps Commander lauded the efforts of the staff at the hospital and thanked China for its response to the humanitarian crisis in Pakistan. The Chinese contingent has supplied over 40 tonnes of medicine for the victims.
