Full Disclosure: Al-Khidmat presents annual charity record
More than Rs509 million was used up in different charity projects last year.

The Al-Khidmat Welfare Society released on Tuesday an annual report of its fund collection and charity works.
According to the details presented by the amir of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi and the society’s president, Mohammad Hussain Mehanti, more than Rs509 million was used up in different charity projects last year. He said that the organisation had never before collected such a big amount.
The funds were used for disaster victims, orphans, widows and other needy people.
The society supported flood survivors, funded their rehabilitation, and financially supported deserving students.
