LAHORE:
Police arrested the deputy medical superintendent of Jinnah Hospital Lahore on charges of murder of his wife.
Doctor Yadullah’s wife Fiza was found dead in her house under mysterious circumstances on Sunday. Doctor Yadullah informed his sister-in-law Nargis Fatima that Fiza had committed suicide. However, Fiza's brother Zafar Abbas filed an application against Doctor Yadullah, accusing him of torturing Fiza to death.
Police have arrested Yadullah and registered a case against him. Further investigation is underway. The body has been handed over to the relatives after an autopsy.
