Kp-61 By-Election: Security to be beefed up at 15 polling stations

The district administration have declared 15 polling stations of KP-61 Kohistan-1 as sensitive and decided to deploy additional Frontier Constabulary forces at these polling stations, Hazara Divisional Election Commissioner Khalid Waheed said on Monday.

According to sources, an intelligence report indicated that there is a possibility of unscrupulous elements striking at 10 male and five female polling stations to disrupt the election. The report also indicated that clashes between rival groups on the polling day are possible.
Based on the report, the district administration has been directed to make all out efforts to ensure smooth polling on November 24, sources said.
