Free treatment: Kidney transplant dialysis centre planned for Sialkot
Hospital aims to provide free-of-cost transplants of kidneys and dialysis to the kidney patients.

The kidney patients’ welfare association (KPWA) Sialkot has chalked out a plan to establish an international kidney transplant hospital in the district.
The hospital aims to provide free-of-cost transplants of kidneys and dialysis to the kidney patients. “There are thousands of people who are facing kidney problems and cannot afford treatment. This centre will serve their needs,” he added.
Association president Imtaiz Ahmed told reporters that this would be the first ever private sector kidney transplant hospital in Sialkot which would provide free-of-cost transplant facilities to local patients. “The centre will also take full responsibility about managing donor lists and for post operative recovery of the patients,” he added. Local exporters have been donating generously for the early establishment of the hospital. He said that the free-of-cost dialysis was currently being done at a local private hospital under supervision of Kidney PatientsÎ Welfare Association Sialkot.
