Pakistan to continue war on terror

Richard Holbrook and President Asif Ali Zardari have agreed to continue the war against terror and to strengthen Pak-US ties.

The US Special Envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrook and President Asif Ali Zardari have agreed to continue the war against terror and to strengthen Pak-US ties.

Holbrook, who is on a four-day trip to Pakistan, called on the president in Islamabad, who told the special envoy that a stable Afghanistan is in the larger interest of Pakistan.


He said Pakistan will take the war on terror to its logical conclusion, but added that the international community needs to address Pakistan's reservations.

Holbrook said the US government appreciates the anti-terror efforts of Pakistan and the sacrifices made by its people.
