Contempt of Court: Railways gets till Monday to comply
Pakistan Railways’ failure to comply to find a desk job for an employee who lost a leg in an accident on duty.

The Lahore High Court on Friday expressed “serious displeasure” at Pakistan Railways’ failure to comply with directions to find a desk job for an employee who lost a leg in an accident on duty. Mazhar Hussain in his contempt of court petition stated that the court’s order had not been complied with several months after it was issued. A Railways divisional engineer told the court on Friday that the order was “in process”. The judge directed the divisional engineer to implement the order and present a compliance report on October 31.
