Health Services: Punjab gets Ambulance Service College
College will offer a one-year certification course, comprising 3 modules taught by visiting faculty from Ireland.

Pakistan’s first ambulance service college has been established at the University of Health Sciences’ (UHS) Institute of Learning Emergency Medicine. It will be affiliated with National Ambulance College, Dublin, Ireland. The college will offer a one-year certification course, comprising three modules that will be taught by visiting faculty from Ireland. Students will also be required to intern for a year at a recognised hospital after the final examination. The Director and Advanced Paramedic of National Ambulance Service College, Dublin, will act as the director of the newly established college.
