Creative writing: Karachi essay competition concludes

More than 200 students from 40 schools of Karachi took part in an essay writing and drawing competition organised by the Pakistan American Cultural Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday. The winner was Zainab Aqdas from The Mama Parsi Girls’ Secondary School and runner up was Amin Rahu of St Michael’s School. Author and art critic, Marjorie Husain, Lubna Khalid, Marium Sadriwala, Dr Graeme Cane, Yousuf Qureshi, Naheed Yahya, and Aliya Faizi were the chief guests. Press release
