Nepotism thwarted: 65 candidates appointed on court order

KHAIRPUR:

The Sindh High Court bench in Sukkur has directed the authorities to appoint 65 inspectors to the provincial excise and taxation department.

These candidates had filed petitions before the high court, in which they stated that they had passed the written and oral examinations for the posts in 2007, but after the Pakistan Peoples Party government came to power, nepotism prevailed and their posts were given to people with political connections.
