Lahore High Court issues notice to the Punjab Government
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has admitted a petition against the online system in educational boards, and has issued notices to the Punjab government.
The petitioner’s counsel stated that the computerised system had failed and jeopardised the future of thousands of students.
He contested that the system should be discontinued until the flaws are removed.
During the case hearing, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed observed that the results were cancelled only after students protested and asked the provincial government why the errors were not rectified before the online system was implemented.
The court has sought replies from the Punjab government, educational boards and the secretary concerned on November 4.
