At the Lahore Press Club, a crowd of journalists enjoyed country music performed by Mary McBride and her band from the US. The event was part of Daniel Pearl World Music Day.
Events were held to commemorate the late journalist at US consulate missions across the globe. “This is our third State Department sponsored tour, it’s been really amazing interacting with the people and playing concerts,” said McBride. “It is a social mission for sure but it’s also a credible experience,” she added.
