KESC crushed Muslim FC 2-0 to move up to second position in the Pakistan Premier Football League yesterday, while league leaders KRL beat Navy 1-0 in their corresponding fixture. Muhammad Khan scored the first goal for KESC in the 16th minute while captain Muhammad Essa’s goal in the 86th minute sealed the win. The win puts KESC on second spot with 40 points while Muslim FC occupy third place with 39 points. Meanwhile, with the help of Samar Ishaq’s goal in the 59th minute, KRL defeated Navy and consolidated their lead with 48 points. In the third match of the day HBL drew against Pel in a goal-less encounter.
