Media matters

ISLAMABAD: With regard to your coverage of the recent tussle between the Punjab assembly and the media, may I say that freedom is a blessing but free citizens of any nation are bound to follow certain laws of the country in which they live. The same should apply to those who work in the media. We support the freedom of the media especially now when it is under attack. But at the same time I request media organisations to remember that showing graphic pictures of, say, bomb attack victims is perhaps not even in the interest of readers.
