Football: Redknapp speaks highly of Tevez
Tevez looks set to leave City in the January transfer window after being suspended by the club.
LONDON:
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp admits he would love to sign Manchester City’s controversial striker Carlos Tevez. Tevez looks set to leave City in the January transfer window after being suspended by the club following his refusal to warm-up during a Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich. “I would take him if he were available for sure,” said Redknapp. “Say what you like, but he’s a world-class player and you can’t say he doesn’t work his socks off when he plays.”
