Road Accidents: Four killed, one injured

Four people were killed and another injured in two road accidents in Hazara.

ABBOTABAD:
Four people were killed and another injured in two road accidents in Hazara here on Saturday. Police and eyewitnesses said that a loaded jeep enroot from Kaghan to Balakot, fell into a ravine near Kappi Gali Village after developing a mechanical fault. Two passengers died on the spot while another died of injuries while being taken to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital Mansehra. Those deceased were identified as Muhammad Riaz, Shabbir Ahmed and Muhammad Sadiq. In the second incident a motorbike rider was killed and his friend riding pillion was critically injured after being hit by a bus near Salhad Village. Police said that Ghulam Mustafa, reportedly an official of an intelligence agency, was on his way to Abbottabad when his motorcycle was hit by a Lahore bound Daewoo bus, killing him on the spot. His friend Ramazan has been admitted in the DHQ hospital Abbottabad. The residents of Salhad captured the fleeing bus driver Taj Muhammad and handed him over to the authorities.
