Football: Allegri eyes climb up the table
Milan face Lecce today, looking for their first away win of the season.
ROME:
AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has set his players a target of four straight wins to climb up the Serie A table ahead of the next international break. Milan have won just two of their opening six Serie A matches, although they did show signs of returning to form in last week’s 3-0 defeat of Palermo, as well as the midweek 2-0 victory against BATE Borisov in the Champions League. “The standings help us prepare because we have great motivation to arrive at the international break in a better position than we’re in now,” said Allegri. Milan face Lecce today, looking for their first away win of the season.
