Bridge: Pakistan’s miserable run continues

Pakistan lost to Brazil 18-12 in round 19 of the Bermuda Bowl World Bridge Championship.

Pakistan lost to Brazil 18-12 in round 19 of the Bermuda Bowl World Bridge Championship, the team’s 16th defeat this week in Veldhoven, Holland. The team required a total of 340 Victory Points (VPs) to qualify for the knockout round, but they have earned only 214 so far, with no chance of making it to the next stage. Italy is leading the championship with 369 VPs while hosts Holland are second with 345 and US 2 are third with 339 VPS after 19 rounds.
