A teenage boy was found shot dead in Shamsabad area of Mastung town – about 45 kilometres south of Quetta.

A teenage boy was found shot dead in Shamsabad area of Mastung town – about 45 kilometres south of Quetta – on Friday, police said. The deceased was identified as 17-year-old Farooq Ahmed, a resident of Mianwali. Ahmed had gone missing from Quetta on October 14. Mastung police said the victim had come to Quetta from Punjab about a month ago and was residing at his relative’s house in the Shalkot area of Quetta. Ahmed’s relatives lodged an FIR against his neighbour Baga Khan, accusing him of the kidnapping and murder.
