Unpaid Dues: FESCO suspends supply
Punjab Irrigation department is the biggest defaulter and owes Fesco Rs19.3m.

Faisalabad Electricity Supply Company (Fesco) suspended electricity supply to seven federal and provincial departments in the region after they failed to pay their dues for several months. They include Faisalabad Railways, PTCL, Police, TMA Jaranwala, TMA Laylpur Town and Irrigation department. The Punjab Irrigation department is the biggest defaulter and owes Fesco Rs19.3m. Faisalabad Railways and PTCL have outstanding dues amounting to Rs5.9m and Rs700,000 respectively.
