Protest: Doctors’ strike continues in Quetta
PMA and Baloch Doctors Forum said that the strike will continue until culprits are booked.

Out-Patient Departments (OPDs) at state-run hospitals in Quetta remained closed on Thursday as protests against the killing of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Balochistan President Dr Mazar Baloch continued for the fifth consecutive day. Apart from emergency cases, doctors refused to attend to their services throughout the day. Baloch, an orthopaedic surgeon and assistant professor at the Bolan Medical Complex Teaching Hospital, was shot and injured by armed assailants on Masjid Road, Quetta, last week. He succumbed to bullet wounds at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi. PMA and Baloch Doctors Forum said that the strike will continue until culprits are booked or progress is made in the investigation.
