United Nations Jobs: Govt told not to exclude petitioners

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday ordered the Interior Ministry to include the names of 11 police and anti-corruption establishment employees in the final screening for selection to the United Nations peace mission. With this direction, the court disposed of petitions filed by the officers. The petitioners including six employees of the Anti-Corruption Establishment and five of the Police Department, contended that they met the selection criteria but ttheir names were dropped on the pretext that they failed to clear a screening test.
